Another year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAP) has granted the traditional Food awards from Spain to recognize all kinds of products. Those that are produced in national territory and among those who do not miss their appointment, olive oils. The 'liquid gold' that has been produced during the 2019-2020 agricultural season has been awarded in different parts of the country, in lands where fabulous AOVE. But also recognize and promote knowledge of the best bottles of AOVE of the national market. In the context of those Food from Spain, the special award has been taken this season by High Luck Farmhouse, produced in the town of Albendín-Baena (Cordoba). In the blind tasting of the bitter green fruity modality, it has achieved the highest score compared to the competitors. But in this same category, both the San Vicente Andalusian Cooperative Society, located in Mogón (Jaén), and the Muela Oil Mill, from Cordoba Priego.
These are the best oils in Spain
Following the list of winners and finalists by categories we find these six magnificent EVOO:
Within the modality sweet green fruity, first place for oil Olivapalacios, company located in the town of Bolaños de Calatrava (Ciudad Real). The other two selected from here have been Manuel Molina Muñoz e Hijos, from Almedilla (Córdoba) and also Finca La Torre Aceites, from Bobadilla (Málaga).
On the other hand, among those of ripened fruit, accolade for oil Agricola i Caixa Agraria i Seccio Credit de Ruidecanyes, from this same town located in Tarragona. Its two competitors have been Pago Peñarrubia (Albacete) and another olive company from Tarragona, located in La Selva del Camp.
Thus, these can be considered today the best oils from Spain, as they have achieved greater recognition among the 55 samples submitted to the contest. What great products are born from our land!
