For all gin lovers comes the Gaudea Botanics-Olive Gin. And this gin is a bet from the company Gaudea Les Garrigues DOP olive oil producer.
The gin has been presented in the city of Terrassa (Barcelona) since its distillation is made by La Destilateca, the artisanal gastronomic micro distillery located in the Vallesan city. This is the new bet of the Gaudea company, who wanted to take their passion one step further. For all these reasons, this new distillate of artisanal origin has been created.
Gaudea Botanics - Olive Gin is made with Arbequina olives from Alcarràs. Gaudea's own olives, fused with aromatic plants. Among the botanicals that are part of its preparation are lemon myrtle, nutmeg, coriander seed and wild mint.

The fruit of all the preparation is a balanced, different and authentic gin. According to the director of Gaudea Mr. Gerard Camps “During the last few years we have opted for the production of new gourmet products, such as olive jam. Now we wanted to go one step further and bet on a new product that would be differentiating and unique. And that will accompany the quality of our Arbequina olives from Alcarràs. And we have achieved it.”
For its part, from the micro distillery, as experts in the production of many spirits for great chefs, its master distiller Carles Bonnin commented “We really wanted to make a gin with olives. We were waiting for the opportunity for someone to bet on this product. It has been a pleasure to be able to carry out this collaboration with Gaudea. It has been a great experience and we are very proud of the final result. We have achieved a fresh gin, with a lot of character and great intensity.”
