Torta del Casar: in danger due to the heat

A problem for agriculture

To ensure the harvest of this plant, the PDO of this popular cheese from Extremadura has signed an agreement with the Town Council of Casar de Cáceres. The two parties have decided to enable eighteen more hectares to plant thistle and thus ensure that producers are guaranteed the average annual harvest. The importance of the Torta del Casar
