This natural environment is decorated by centenary olive trees that you can observe through a route for hikers. If you go through it, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Montsec mountain range, Tremp Basin and even a swamp: Cellers. You can also see the remains of the Castle of Sant Gervàs. Now, the first thing mentioned - the landscape of olive groves - is the most important thing for this drink.

Its creator, producer of extra virgin olive oil in that region of the Lleida Pyrenees, it uses up to seven varieties of olives. All native to that Catalan region and which give Olive Green Beer a very olive essence. Although the story does not end here.

Olibe Green Beer ingredients

Caelles fuses in this pioneering drink his love for beer and olive. It does so by making this beer with natural ingredients typical of any artisan: barley and wheat malts, hops and yeast. But adding those olives from Pallars Jussà and even water coming from a tributary of the Segre river. We refer to Noguera Ribagorzana, which bathes the west bank of the Lleida region and, therefore, also those fields of olive groves.

Thanks to this set of elements with great prominence in the Catalan landscape, a beer is born no additives or preservatives, unfiltered or pasteurized and even gluten free. Of course, to all these healthy points compared to other beers, it is worth highlighting its characteristics linked to the tasting note. It already surprises from its color!

Green with olive notes

You cannot appreciate it from outside the bottle, but you can appreciate it once it is served in a glass. The cane of this Olive Green Beer it should almost necessarily remind you of AOVE freshly extracted, the great product with which it is twinned. A colour Verde Brilliant hides a transparent beer with a creamy, white and persistent head. This craftswoman is Bohemian Pilsner style (originally from the Czech Republic) and it does not leave you indifferent.

On the nose you can detect traces of olive and subtle notes of olive leaves. There is no lack, of course, of the floral and spicy touches of the hops that complement the others. Thus they create a unique scent sensation to travel to the enclave where the olives are harvested in the early hours of the morning. That reminds you but its flavor still seduces you more because it is soft, pleasant and refreshing, with that contribution of marked olive notes.
