According to the survey carried out by Ipsos for the Council of Norwegian seafood in Spain 83% of people will consume it smoked. 24% will consume fresh salmon to prepare baked or grilled dishes. Sushi consumption is increasing and will reach 28% of consumers followed by options such as sashimi or salmon poke.

The data shows that the Spanish prefer to eat salmon during Christmas celebrations, especially smoked and Norwegian”. Although in Spain there are no great differences in the consumption of salmon, Aragon and Madrid are the communities that lead the consumption of this product.
