According to a study carried out by the consultancy Nielsen connection with the Meat Fair Meat Attraction 2019, one in ten Spaniards is vegetarian. Spanish consumers increasingly value the health in their diet. This past year, it has increased by 2% consumption of turkey meat and has descended a 1% that of other birds, such as chicken. In this sense, the consumption of beef or red meat it has decreased by 1,7%. In any case, globally, the consumption of meat products has increased demand by 2,8%, reaching a turnover of more than 15 billion in Spain.
