Cokare presents a current diet with roots of Chinese medicine

Times of fusion of cultures and this is the case of the company Cokare. A company founded by three creators Sabrina Azzi (French living in Barcelona), Victoria Colangelo (American) and Susy Xiang (Chinese). The company's objective is to bring traditional Chinese medicine into foods that appeal to Western audiences. In this way, the company markets coffees, teas, chocolates with plant extracts and adaptogenic fungi.

With the idea of being able to bring the benefits of traditional Chinese medicine closer together and make it accessible to the Western public, Cokare was born. The company uses organic plants and mushrooms such as cordyceps, tremella, lion's mane, reishi or agaricus. In addition, these ingredients are fused with the most functional products such as chocolate, coffee or tea and always with the advice of Chinese nutritionists and herbalists. These doctors make the products thinking about all types of people.

The benefits of products made by Cokare

As one of its founders Sabrina Azzi explains to us, the Cokare range is very beneficial for the body. “We have products to strengthen the immune system, facilitate digestion, and help us sleep. Also to give us extra energy and clarity or improve the condition of the skin that adapt perfectly to our eating routine. It's something as simple as having tea, coffee or chocolate. In addition, we have powdered elixirs that allow us to bring all these properties to the dishes we cook, something that chefs like Carme Ruscalleda are already doing.”

An example of the products is Café Focus. It is an organic 100% Arabica coffee with adaptogenic mushrooms (lion's mane, reishi and agaricus). These give us lucidity and concentration. It has aromatic notes of dark chocolate and ripe fruit, it is medium roasted and has an intense aroma. It is available in two formats: fine or coarse ground, so they adapt to all types of coffee makers (Italian, filter, expresso, and plunger).
