  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • Fresh jalapeños to taste (optional)
  • The juice of a lime
  • 5 coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • Roasted pumpkin seeds and pomegranate grains

Preparation of the Punto MX guacamole

We peel and pit the avocado to make our guacamole. We crush it in a molcajete (the traditional Mexican mortar). Add the onion, the finely chopped cilantro, the lime juice and the jalapeño (optional). Add the avocado oil little by little to gain smoothness.

Roberto's tricks

If we don't have molcajete, we can mash the avocados. We do it in a bowl with the help of the bottom of a plastic cup. Or also from the mallet of a mortar. The result will be similar. If we cannot find avocado oil, we can use extra virgin olive oil, perfectly.

Then, it can be combined with different Mexican dishes such as nachos or other more common ones. For example, try a serving of crab sticks or surimi, with french fries and croquettes. Also fits with pretzels, spring rolls or fingers. In the same wayother seafood such as prawns in batter and alone get a different flavor with this Mexican sauce.
