Autumn haute cuisine in Barcelona

This coming November the stars of the Michelin Guide 2024 in Barcelona. The city will take advantage of this opportunity to bring haute cuisine closer to the municipal markets as well as in the event that takes place within the framework of Mercats de Mercats. The city is not satisfied with being the Spanish city with the most stars and wants to share it with the citizens.

It all starts this coming weekend where the Hermanos Torres showcokings will take place this Friday in the central Plaza Cataluña. It will continue on Saturday the 21st with chef Alejandra Ormeño from the Ají restaurant, Oriol Castro from the Mejorar restaurant and Raül Balam from the Moments restaurant. On Sunday it will continue with Francesc Beltri and Nicolás de la Vega from the Slow&Low restaurant and with Rafa de Bedoya from the Aleia restaurant.

But everything does not end in Plaza Cataluña. It will continue in the municipal markets with the Showcooking by Romain Fornells from the Caelis restaurant in the Guineueta market on October 30. The next morning at the Eshob hospitality school you can enjoy showcooking by Artur Martínez from the Aürt restaurant. These samples will end at the Sants market on November 6, where chef Fran López from the Xerta restaurant will show his creations.

 

Barcelona, ​​haute cuisine and the Michelin Guide Gala 2024

Already on November 28, Michelin will hold the Gala of its long-awaited Guide 2024 in the city of Barcelona. On this occasion, chefs Jordi Cruz, Sergio and Javier Torres and Paolo Casagrande, all of whom have three Michelin stars, will organize the gala dinner. To do this, they will have a team of chefs with a total of 17 Michelin stars.

The Gala will be presented by the well-known presenter and showman Andreu Buenafuente and can be followed live through the broadcast that will be carried out on the Guide's digital channels.
