Plant-tastic, is a product designed for babies, which combines the potential of legumes, grains and vegetables, making it 100% vegetable.
These new foods are a puree, they provide a good amount of fiber and a complete and quality vegetable protein. Nestle has brought out two varieties of purees; one of chickpeas and rice, another of white beans and quinoa. All the foods and nutrients with which these purees are made are completely natural, they do not have added salt, gluten, palm oil, colorings or preservatives, in accordance with current legislation, for example if they have extra virgin olive oil.
The new range of plant foods also includes alternatives to dairy products, especially for snacks and desserts. Since veganism rejects all kinds of food that comes from an animal, so shakes, ice creams and yogurts do not enter their diets. These alternatives are desserts made from coconut, without lactose or added sugars. Currently there are only two types of flavors: mango and kiwi, and the other option apple and pineapple.
The price of these products ranges between about seven euros and twelve euros. They come in packs of at least six units (depending on the product) and can be purchased at the main supermarkets in Spain.
