The Ramón Bilbao Winery, located in the region of Haro (La Rioja) have already presented a particular liquid rose wine salt, drink from which it takes the aroma that is impregnated in the dish. In its various uses in the kitchen, this product that, perhaps, you have heard very little or nothing about, is very interesting for its healthy properties. What is liquid salt and where does it come from?

With the need to find a product healthier but without sacrificing flavor which every diner is used to in most recipes. Thus, in this second part of the process it can be poured back into barrels until it acquires the corresponding flavor.

Its uses in the kitchen

Because in The Rioja, Ramón Bilbao Winery they want to bring their best flavor to gastronomy, through a product "as expressive as the rosé itself, hence we have obtained the same freshness and purity that characterizes" the bottle. This is how the innovation director Rosana Lisa has defined this novelty. The winery group has collaborated with the company Navarra Spring salt Ancestral, whose salt shakers are located at the feet of the Sierra de Urbasa and Andía. An environment of unique salt flats, located at more than 700 meters of altitude and coming from a fossilized sea more than 220 million years ago.

The product of the Riojan winery is peach pink color with slightly floral and fruity notes, offering a fresh aroma, thus identifying itself with the wine from which it takes its characteristics. To fuse both elements, the volatiles from the fermentation process have been transformed into liquid.
