The winners of the Salon de Gourmets 2019

This April 11 ends the Edition 33 of this great international gastronomy event, of which we have been telling you news (I) Y (II). He does it with many winners also in different categories. We have focused here on awarded by the Salón de Gourmets for the best cheeses and the EVOO and best sommelier awards.

One of the prizes with the highest economic endowment, twelve thousand euros, is the 16 International cuisine award with EVOO - Jaén Paraiso interior. On this occasion the winner has been Lalo Reyes Mancebo, from the Restaurant The senses from Jaén. The runner-up for the award was Rafael Bautista Tirado, from the Restaurant Victoria Gastrobar in Huesca and the third position for Federico Guajardo Márquez, from Sale of Posa from Alicante.

At Tierra de Sabor sommelier contest, the winner has been Diego González Barbolla of Burgos. In addition, this winner will be the representative of Spain in the World Sommelier Championship.

In the renowned contest of Gourmet-Cheese the award has been for Flower of La Dehesa. From the Los Casareños Cheese Factory (Cáceres), is the absolute winner of the championship and the Best Cheese of Spain 2019. On the other hand, the Second prize for Best Cheese in Spain It is for Granizo de Quesos La Rueda (Albacete).
