Oriol Balaguer's new book: Oh la la chocolat

Oriol Balaguer has decided on this occasion to dedicate a monographic book to one of his specialties, chocolate, which is also one of the great human passions. Through a selection of recipes, he explores all its different ways of preparation, to enjoy chocolate differently and in multiple formats.

Oriol Balaguer's sweet cuisine, internationally recognized, fuses softness with texture and flavor. An exquisite pleasure for the palate and with a perfect balance between flavor and form. This book is aimed at both amateurs and professionals, with all the necessary technique. Explained in an accessible and practical way at the same time, to prepare the most deliciously irresistible recipes at home.

This book is Oriol Balaguer's work in recent months. A job where he tells us that he has enjoyed it very much. «I always have a good time when I am immersed in this wonderful world of gastronomy. And if it is the exciting world of cocoa and chocolate even more so, it takes me back to childhood, watching my father work with chocolate, enjoying it like a child. This is what has also happened to me, and continues to happen to me, since I dedicated myself to this universe of pastry and chocolate.

Everything I have done in this book has been with tremendous passion. Above all, with that energy, happiness and smile that a child gives off when he opens a chocolate bar, puts his finger in a hazelnut cream or eats an Easter cake. That's how much fun I've had.

Oriol Balaguer tells us what we will find in his book

The book is designed for amateurs, that is, for you, for you, so that you can let yourself be carried away by chocolate and immerse yourself in the sweet world. I have tried to make it easy so that every weekend you dare with a preparation and enjoy making it and tasting it.

You will find a wide variety of recipes, from cookies, cakes, desserts, cakes, specialties, truffles, bread and even perfume (panettone). All under the common thread of chocolate, that magical product that makes young and old happy, that generates positive energy and makes us smile. You have recipes to share and make with your friends, to enjoy with your children as a family on a Saturday afternoon. Also to leave your neighbors speechless, to surprise your partner on that magical day, to prepare that special holiday sweet. I have also included a recipe to make you angry because I have added the panettone and I tell you in advance that it is very complex, especially if you are not a professional. However, I wanted to include it for the most daring, or simply so that you can see how complex it is and choose to buy it in our stores. :). I hope you enjoy it as much as I have done making it.
