These awards, which are supported by International Wine Challenge, put your attention on the quality of wine tourism of more than 1.500 wineries around the world. As a result of their work, they make a selection of what they consider to be the best 50. The best winery in the world by its owners
Jose Alberto Zuccardi director and head of an entire family dedicated to wine, with a long history in the Argentine wine industry, explains how is the winery. Sebastián Zuccardi, José's winemaker son, in March 2019 it was included in the top ten of South American winemakers, made by the prestigious wine critic Tim Atkin. It's for the magazine Decanter. Its wines are faithful to the expression of the vineyard where they were born. In 2013 and 2015 he was distinguished with the award "Winemaker of the Year", awarded by the British chain Gaucho Grill.
In 2018 he was nominated as Innovator of The Year by Wine Enthusiast (USA). It was also chosen by the English critic Tim Atkin as "Winemaker of the Year" in the Argentina 2016 Special Report. In addition, the British magazine Decanter highlighted him leading the Top 10 winemakers of South America in 2017 and 2019.
La wine cellar, inaugurated in 2016, is located in the heart of Altamira area, San Carlos, Mendoza. It has a capacity to produce 900.000 liters. In the 2018 vintage, more than 140 vinifications were carried out to represent the uniqueness of each piece of land.
