Non-alcoholic wine, more benefits

News about the non-alcoholic wine. It has recently been featured in the Bristish science festival an investigation of the Anglia Ruskin University where the benefits of alcohol-free or dealcoholized wine are validated. Such research claims that the benefits for cardiovascular health are the same if the wine is non-alcoholic that if it is a "normal" wine.

According to Dr Rudolph Schutte from Anglia Ruskin University These studies show that moderate alcohol consumption is not good. Some previous studies supported that this moderate consumption helped reduce the risk of heart disease.

Research attributes beneficial effects to polyphenols

It has been found that lhe beneficial effects of red and white wines are real. These produce a beneficial and protective action in our body. All of it it happens the same way whether the wine has been dealcoholized or not. In this way, everything seems to indicate that this beneficial action is produced by polyphenols found in wine and what they remain once dealcoholized. According to previous studies, polyphenols present in red wine help to burn some calories present in food.

The study, echoed by the The Times, has been made based on the Biobank of the United Kingdom where more than 400.000 people participate. All these people of different ages and lifestyles were followed for more than seven years. Those who drank wine moderately were found to have a lower risk of heart disease than the rest. All this was encrypted in a 40% compared to the rest of the group.

On the other hand, all consumers of other alcoholic beverages such as beer, cider, or spirits increased coronary risk by 10%. Dr Rudolph Schutte insists on the recommendation not to drink alcohol as it does not produce any health benefits. If it is produced by the polyphenols in this drink. So the non-alcoholic wine seems to be a great ally.
