Art and wine merge once more in the Jean Leon winery. With a photographic exhibition that will dress the walls of the winery of Penedes until the end of January. 'The vineyard is dressed in autumn' is the title of this exhibition by the artist of Vilafranca Maria Rosa Ferre.

In it, visitors can discover the incredible color tones that the vineyard adopts at this time of year. As well as the most unique wine elements of the Penedes.

Passionate about photography since she was little and a professional artist for 5 years. Ferré she is in love with Penedes and its landscape. Thus, she has been the recipient of various awards and co-author of the Calidoscopi books and Postals del Penedès.

He now presents this sample to us through 17 photographs on canvas measuring 110 cm x 80 cm. Discover the wealth of the extraordinary Penedès landscape when the vineyard is stained with oranges, browns, ocher, yellows and reds. Ferré transmits, with these snapshots "the values ​​that the land where we work, where we live and enjoy a typically Mediterranean landscape gives us."

Exhibition at the Jean Leon winery

The exhibition can be visited until the end of January as an added value to Jean Leon's regular visit. It will be necessary to reserve in advance.

'The vineyard is dressed in autumn' was inaugurated last Friday, December 15 with the assistance of the artist María Rosa Ferré and the director of Jean Leon, Mireia Torres. This highlighted his admiration for the work and the strong and fighter personality of Ferré. He also stressed the importance of art in the winery of the Penedes.

With this initiative the historical link of the Jean Leon winery with the artistic world. All as a tribute to its founder and that is included under the ViArt project. The artistic manifestations are recurrent, with different proposals such as the one that can be discovered through its icon wine, the Vinya La Scala Grand Reserve.

Every year it goes on the market wearing the designed label ad-hoc by a different painter. As is the case with Javier Mariscal in its last vintage. Other initiatives include the ViArt, an evening dedicated each year to a different artistic discipline (music, painting, cinema ...).

Eg Cinema Vintage that brings together Catalan actors and actresses to experience a harvest day. Also the recent exhibition of the artist Guinovart which could be visited during the month of July.
