Finish one historical vintage in the Designation of Origin Navarre with the collection of about 60 million kilos of grapes. A decline in production
As for the areas into which the wine map is divided, 44% of the production corresponds to the High Bank. 30% to the low riverbank, 13% to Lower Mountain, 7% to Estella Land and 6% to Valdizarbe. Compared to last year, the harvest has decreased by around 27%. Although with respect to the average of the last 5 years the decrease is 15%.

The earliest harvest and historic vintage
It is a historical vintage because it is probably the earliest in the history of the Denomination. The campaign began around August 16 in the area of the Low Bank and marked a milestone on the calendar. Development has been very successful in a historical vintage which has gone on for two months. As usual, due to the characteristics of the region.
As well as the marked differences in climate and soils between the different areas, which also have an impact. The weather has not been very hot and dry on the busiest days. These conditions have favored a slower and more complete ripening of the grape.

La Denomination of Origin Navarra It is made up of 11.000 hectares of vineyards. The red grape varieties are produced Garnacha, Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Graciano, Mazuelo, Syrah and Pinot Noir.
