El Regulatory Council for the DO Navarre has delivered the Best Wines DO Navarra Awards in the Elizabethan cloister of the Navarre Institute of Public Administration, INAP, riding a Pamplona. In this way, 19 wines made by wineries of the region have been recognized. DO Navarre.
There have been four white wines, one rosé and fourteen reds. These will be from now on the ambassadors of the Designation of Origin in those promotional activities organized by the Regulatory Council.
The awards correspond to the different traditional categories in the elaboration of this region:
Best Wine DO Navarra
Navarra Blanco, Rosé, Young Red, Red Roble, Red Crianza, Red Reserve, White Sweet and Best Wines DO Navarra Blanco Madera and Red Madera.
"These wines are born with an international character but also to be hosts in our land. For all this, the Regulatory Council appeals to the region's commitment to the products that are grown and made, such as the wine that originates from Navarra ”,
That was claimed by the president of the DO Navarra, David Palacios. The winners are the result of a blind tasting by a jury. This, composed of 30 professional members of the sector, among them, winemakers and sommeliers. All analyzed close to 180 samples presented by fifty wineries.
