Thought origin of a Spanish whiskey with culture

La Extremadura distillery Silver Route It was founded not long ago, in 2013, by two young entrepreneurs who undertook the adventure in the sector. Marcos Rubio and Alfonso Vallejo they started their way with the foundation of the popular beer cerex and then focus on other alcoholic beverages. Rum Granadilla, gin Spirit Vetton y RutaPlata creams they were the other creations of both restless people from Cáceres. Precisely those latest products with the company's own name were launched on the market in 2019, as has happened now thanks to a Spanish whiskey with culture: Estremeñu. 

With the aim of paying tribute to the traditions and typical foods of the western peninsula region, the new product had a well thought out origin, related like this by its own creators:

«The name was born from a previous meeting that the whole team had a month before its launch. It was clear that we wanted a name with a history that would highlight the cultural richness of Extremadura and its origins »

Said and done in RutaSilver, thus opening the category of whiskeys with a blended type, which has matured in barrels for 36 months and has been made with barley malt. Under strict temperature control, it has progressively aged after the distillation of various fermented malts. The result achieved is a Spanish whiskey with culture straw gold in color. Its onset is honeyed on the palate, offering a slightly malty flavor and a finish reminiscent of the wood of the barrel.

If they continue with the successes achieved thus far with the rest of their products, the distillery will place Shudder for all SpainWithin the El Corte Inglés Gourmet Club. In addition, it will sell this whiskey in the usual countries where it already succeeds: Peru, the United States, Colombia, Germany or China.
