ALIMENTOS DE ESPAÑA AWARD FOR THE BEST HAM 2018

Last December, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food also granted the Spanish Food Award for the Best Ham 2018. It has been in your categories "Acorn-fed Iberian Ham" and "Serrano Ham or other Recognized Quality Figures". These awards, which are awarded for the second time, are intended to promote quality ham and improve its image and position in the markets.

The award for the category "Iberico Acorn-fed Ham" has gone to the Acorn-fed 100% Iberian Ham "Monte Nevado Añada 2014". It is produced by Jamones Segovia, SA, from Carbonero el Mayor (Segovia).

In the modality "Serrano Ham or other Recognized Quality Figures" has been for the “Vallejo” ham, from the IGP Jamón de Trevélez. It belongs to Jamones Vallejo, SL, from Trevélez (Granada).

So, these have been the winners in the Food Awards of Spain last year in another successful edition.
