Nómada Brewing presents its new beers

Nómada Brewing, a Spanish craft brewery and partner of Mahou San Miguel since 2016, has presented its new range of beer for the autumn-winter 2018 season. Es a set of three varieties conceived by Javier Aldea and Sami Claret, founders of the brand. They are also two of the most recognized master brewers in the craft segment in our country.

Three seasonal craft beers

Prosapia, Ataraxia and Lum Wee Heavy They have been specially designed for your enjoyment during the winter months. In line with this, it is a beer that incorporates nuances of great intensity. Remember some of the most typical products of these colder days.

This is the case of Prosapia, a sweet beer with a dark color and a delicate flavor. It is acquired throughout its 18 months of barrel aging. It also incorporates a coffee reduction and Pedro Ximénez, which gives it sweet and caramelized touches..

Its label has been designed by a Spanish illustrator with whom the brand collaborates. It is the first time that Nómada Brewing has entered the world of barrel-aged beer. It will soon dig deep with a full series of stouts that will complete this first release.

Javier Aldea, from Nómada Brewing, assures that the objective set with each beer is “to continue to value the craft segment through innovative proposals that arouse not only consumer concern but also that of the rest of the players that make up the sector Spanish brewer ”.

Ataraxia and Lum Wee Heavy

For its part, AtaraxiaAs its name suggests, it is an intense beer but very serene at the same time. Above all, thanks to the fresh and comforting finish that gives it its touch of kaffir lime. A classic beer with a unique contrast between warmth and freshness, which is available in bottle and keg formats.

Finally, Lum Wee HeavyScottish-inspired, it is a warm, dark beer. It is made with a balanced combination of pale ale malts, carapils, smoked chateau, cararoma, and roasted barley. Its liquorous and slightly sweet notes of caramel, raisins, licorice and dried fruits are reminiscent of a cozy evening in front of the fireplace.

Nómada, for the quality and originality of its beers, has won numerous awards such as the Barcelona Beer Challenge. They won 6 medals. They achieved the third position in the ranking of the best brewers in the world.
