Illusion +, the wine with a caring soul

Delusion, commitment, solidarity and transparency. All of this is this wonderful project. Maybe that's why they called him illusion +. It all started in 2013 when, working in China, Pau Torres is diagnosed with SHE (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). He then returned to his land with his wife Gina and after a few months he decided to start a charity project. This consists of the sale of wine online where each client collaborates with 1 or 2 euros, depending on the wine, to help a foundation.

"Selling wine is not easy," he acknowledges Pau (FR) a Great Products. “All the shelves in the supermarket are full of good wines and offers. But as a result of knowing the appellation of origin Montsant when I was working in China, this came up, ”he continues.

“We helped them a bit to get into that market. Furthermore, because of the passion we have for wine, we decided to undertake this initiative ”.

The project was launched in 2014 “thanks to the Prevent and Esade Foundation. We had the support of Oriol Segarra and all the laboratory equipment Uriah. "They have supported us a lot," he says. Pau (FR). Illusion + was also supported by Josep Roca (the celler of Can Roca) and Ferran Centelles.

Wines with your brand

They currently have several types of wines in brand reds Pau (FR). They are a Montsant with varieties of Garnacha, Cariñena and Cabernet Sauvignon, produced by Mas de l´Abundancia.

Also a red from the DO Penedès monovarietal Grenache made by Viladellops Vinícola. As well as a DO Priorat produced by La Conreria d'Scala Dei of Garnacha negra, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mazuelo varieties.

In white wines with brand Gina they have a DO Montsant de Garnacha white and Macabeo produced by Cooperativa Agrícola Falset-Marçà. In rosés, made by Bodegas Ochoa, they have a DO Navarra of varieties of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The brand Ferran It gives its name to the only cava on offer, an exceptional 30-month reserve brut. It is made by a small cellar in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia: the Count of Valicourt.

Ilusión + also offers tastings and workshops

In the store you can find different packs depending on the time of year. Also a corkscrew designed by the company Koala which contributes € 3 to foundations.

Illusion + It also offers workshops and tastings to spread the culture of wine and publicize the project.

La merchandising is done through the website Illusion + and of some collaborating establishments. These are on the same website. When the purchase is made, the beneficiary foundation can be chosen: Fundación Miquel Valls, Noelia and Foundation Multiple sclerosis.

These, in turn, at the end of the year will issue the client the certificate for the corresponding deduction in the rent.
