This 2017 has been a particularly positive year in which the expeditions of cava www.docava.es they have reached the figure of 252.515.336 million bottles (+ 3%). Which represents a total economic value of 1.149,3 million euros.

The traditional cava has accounted for 219,8 million bottles (+ 1,95% over 2016) and its average aging has been 13,8 months.

The entire foreign market grew by 3,2 million bottles. Achieving the record figure of 162,2 million bottles. Germany regains the first position with an outstanding growth of 10,5%. The European Union presents a result of 112,6 million bottles (+ 0,7%) and third countries 49,6 million (+ 5,2%).

The premium segment grew significantly by 3,1 million bottles (10,7%), reaching 32,6 million bottles. The domestic market, which represents 64,5% of the total premium, grew 14%.
