Decree 71/2020, of November 9: direct sales regulation in Castilla-La Mancha

Through this sales model, farmers and ranchers will be able to take their products directly from the field to the table. That is, without the need to have Ningún intermediary. Campo y alma, a guarantee brand for food from Castilla-La Mancha

In the most important annual showcase of high-end food and beverages, Gourmets Room Castilla-La Mancha has presented Campo and Alma. The new community food guarantee brand. Campo y Alma will identify the PDO or PGI products. The use of this guarantee seal may be requested by any operator that has the certificate for products with any of the PDO or PGI of the region. In Castilla-La Mancha there are 28 PDOs and 7 PGIs. For the moment, the use of the trademark has been requested by 15 agricultural operators. 

In the presentation ceremony, the Minister of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, Francisco Martínez Arroyo, explained the meaning of Campo and Alma:

This brand was born as a result of the proposal of the president of Castilla-La Mancha himself at the beginning of the legislature, and will act as double seal of quality guarantee, being a brand of brands that provides brand value, that of protected designations of origin and geographical indications and that of the brand itself
