Bodega Pardas, new signing of Corpinnat

The collective brand of sparkling wines The future of television is here Corpinat, born a little over three years ago after his split from the DO cava, has incorporated a new member. It's about the Pardas Winery that, after passing the mandatory brand audits, has passed the process and will be able to market its products under the protection of Corpinnat. We briefly introduce you to this Catalan wine family.

This new signing will be the eleventh incorporation that is part of this brand that makes great sparkling wines. Currently, wineries such as Gramona, Llopart, Nadal, Recaredo, Sabaté i Coca, Torelló, Huguet-Can Feixes, Julia Bernet, Mas Candi and Can Descregut. La Pardas winery was born as the first winery to market its first bottles with the high quality brand. It will also be the group's smallest family in bottle marketing.

Bodega Pardas, small but big

El Celler Pardas newly incorporated has not yet been released with sparkling wines. He will do it this coming autumn-winter and he will do it with a sparkling wine of 48 months of aging. This will greatly exceed the minimum 18 months of aging required by Corpinnat. Without a doubt, a commitment to the quality of this small winery located in Torrelavit (Catalonia).

The winery was founded in 1996 by Ramon Parera and Jordi Arnan. Ramon is the winemaker and Jordi the agronomist. Both are passionate winegrowers and since 2004 they already market great wines made in the Finca Can Comas of the aforementioned population and very close to the capital of sparkling wines, Sant Sadurni d'Anoia.

In addition to the long aging, Pardas winery has opted for two autochthonous varieties such as Xarel-lo and sumoll, currently in recovery. The Catalan variety Sumoll is accepted as a production variety by Corpinnat but it is not authorized in the DO Cava. Thus, in the coming months we will be able to see the first Corpinnat Pardas sparkling wines. Will be raw nature from the 2017 vintage. One of them made with the Xarel·lo and Sumoll varieties and the other, a 100% white sumoll from black.
