This Friday, January 18, the Terra Alta Wine Route. A collaborative project between Regional Council of Terra Alta and Denomination of Origin Terra Alta. The project represents an important step forward in promoting the area's wine tourism offer from a global and joint point of view.
All the actors involved have been involved. From the wineries to restaurants, cultural associations, accommodation companies or others that offer tourist services.
An expected presentation by Terra Alta
The presentation of the Wine Route will take place at 19:XNUMX p.m. at Gandesa Municipal Tourist Office. It will be carried out by Carles Luz, president of the Terra Alta County Council and Joan Arrufí, president of the Regulatory Council of the DO Terra Alta.
This act will serve to publicize the informative material of the Ruta, where you can consult the different wine tourism activities that are offered in the region.
The event will also be present David esteller, consultant specialized in wine tourism and director of tourislab. This company has been in charge -together with DCB Tourism- of the search and structuring of the wine tourism offer of the Terra Alta to develop Wine Route.

The work carried out highlights the importance of segmentation and specialization of the wine tourism offer. We can find activities of different themes and aimed at different audiences.
Thus, the informative material presents the wineries that offer visits and other wine tourism activities. Also introductory courses to wine tasting, vertical tastings, grape harvest workshops or architectural and historical visits.
In addition, gastronomic activities, experiences for families or proposals among vineyards are also proposed. All this to discover this territory recognized as the soul of the Garnacha White.
