Heura now vegetable "fish"

After the land now the company Ivy Foods arrives with its proposal for vegetable fish to help the sea. In this way, the company Heura Foods opens a new category of plant-based fish within its products based on vegetable protein.

As the company presents these fish products, created with vegetable protein, they have 70% less climate impact compared to the consumption of animal fish. At a time when 45% of European consumers acknowledge that they reduce the consumption of animal protein, a proposal has come to reduce the consumption of animal fish.

For all this  Heura launches its hake fillets and 100% vegetable protein breaded sticks. Both the hake fillets and the wands they are low in saturated fat and rich in high-quality protein. They contain 40mg of Omega 3, which helps with brain and eye health.

The Heura hake fillet is a good main course option. The breaded wands, tasty and crunchy, are designed as a sharing dish as indicated by the company.

For the company Heura one of its objectives is keep marine ecosystems intact This is how its founder and CEO Marc Coloma explains it “»Both science and data have shown us the importance of keeping marine ecosystems intact. The best way to do that is to minimize human activity.”

For all this they have wanted to work to launch the products plant based  of fish creating a net positive food system. In this way, accelerate the transition to proteins of vegetable origin and, thus, offer foods with a significantly lower CO2 impact that allows a fairer food system.

The company wants to continue advancing on this path and expand the company's offer in the plant-based fish segment and reach the final consumer and restaurants.
