The question for some readers will be: how will Morrisons customers know that the product is safe to eat? Well very easy. According to one of those responsible, it should be done as it was a few years ago and they invite their clients to use a smell test to check the quality.

From the same company they want to make consumers aware and warn that “Good quality milk in good condition has a few days left after the normal expiration dates. We believe it should be consumed, not thrown down the sink." They also state that the milk that is wasted is a wasted effort on the part of everyone and especially of the Livestock farmers . They add that all this produces a carbon release unnecessary into the atmosphere and does not help sustainability.
