This weekend Denomination of Origin Valdepeñas will participate in the third edition of Young & Select. Initiative that starts from Valdepeñas City Council as an enhancement of the young wines made in the town.
To give prominence to these young wines, commented tastings, pairings and tastings have been prepared at points of sale. Also visits to wineries, in addition to many other activities. They can be consulted in the brochures available at the Valdepeñas Tourist Office.
Among the many cultural and gastronomic offers, the Denomination of Origin Valdepeñas will carry out a 'Workshop for initiation to tasting'. It will be on Saturday, February 24 at 18:XNUMX p.m. at the headquarters of the DO Valdepeñas located at calle Constitución 23.

The activity is free, but for reasons of limited capacity, prior registration in the Tourist Office. You can sign up by phone or by email. In the workshop, basic notions of the phases of wine tasting, identification of aromas and flavors, colors, types, etc. will be given.
Furthermore, the young white wine of 2017 that DO Valdepenas used in its promotional activities can also be tasted in the paired tasting. This will take place on Saturday at 21:XNUMX p.m. at the La Confianza Cultural Center.
Tickets are already on sale at the Tourist Office. Also in some of the commercial establishments adhering to the 'Young Hour' Friday at 19:30 p.m. and Saturday at 13:00 p.m.
