Just a few days ago, the Da Michele pizzeria chain once again proclaimed itself the best pizza in the world. The pizza chain By Michele has won the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2022, which rewards the best artisan pizza chains in the world.
The reference guide in the world of pizzerias created and edited by Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro and Albert Sapere has awarded these awards in its second edition at a gala this past November 21 in Madrid.
The winners for the second year have been Da Michele, a chain of pizzerias with a presence in Italy, Germany, Japan, England, Spain, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. In Spain they have been present in Barcelona since 2017. This chain of quality pizzerias has been led for 152 years by the Condurro family that makes pizzas in the heart of Naples.
Second and third best pizza in the world
The second position in this ranking of the best pizzerias in the world is the Big Mamma chain with several locations in Spain such as Bel Mondo, Villa Capri and Napoli Gang in the Spanish capital. The Big Mamma chain has French origins and its creators are Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydouxe, great connoisseurs of Italian gastronomy. They currently have locations in France, Spain, England and Germany.
For his part, Grosso Napoletano obtained the third position. This chain born in Madrid has several stores in eight Spanish provinces.
