With this, the leading Spanish frozen food chain has received the award in the III edition of the Mares Forever Awards. It has received it in the category "Revelation supermarket in sustainable fishing”. All after having doubled the number of product references marketed with the MSC blue seal.
It should be noted that last March La Sirena became the first distribution brand to launch its own chopped squid, a frozen product certified under the MSC seal. This new product comes from the cephalopod fishery in the Atlantic Ocean. In addition, he obtained his certification in the summer of 2020.
