The Xisqueta breed will boast a logo

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has authorized the use of the 100% Native Breed Logo to the Federation of Associations of Breeders of Select Xisqueta Sheep Breeds. This entity is recognized for the management of the Breeding Program of this breed. And the Ministry has recognized that consumers demand greater information about the origin of the products they consume. For this reason, it has established a specific identification through a logo for products from native breed animals.

Of these, 29 are bovine, 17 sheep, 12 goats, 4 pigs, 6 avian, 1 equine and 1 camelid.
