Four unique vintages of Fondillón. Coming from the rarest and most appreciated historical reserves of the wineries of the MGWines Group, will be bottled expressly to be tasted in WINE. They will be tasted in a tasting organized exclusively for thirty privileged wine lovers.
Thus, on June 4, these four oenological jewels will take attendees back to other times. A time when the Fondillón it was considered the touch of luxury at the tables of great characters in history. The privileged like him Tsar of Russia, King Louis XIV, the great composer Chopin or even the renowned writer Alexander Dumas.
The tasting will be directed by Raul Perez, oenologist who leads the project oenologically. Pérez you will uncover the most technical organoleptic details of these four unique wines.

This tasting will be the perfect finishing touch to the presentation in WINE from the winery group MGWines and its recovery project Fondillón. The project is personally led by its president, Luis Minano San Valero.
For a long time the Fondillón it was considered a "dinosaur of oenology" that was on the verge of disappearing. It was Salvador Poveda who in the 40s prevented it from happening thanks to his tenacity and determination.
In 2015 in a bid to restore the splendor it deserves, MGWines acquired the reserves of this unique wine. Until then, they had been conserved in the family cellars of the monovero winemaker. “Tasting these wines is like taking a trip back in time. Savor the passage of time, the kind that passes slowly, year after year for more than a hundred years in barrels ”, he says Minano.
