Among them stands out a new route from Lleida, with stops at Binéfar, Monzón and Barbastro. This is in addition to the 10 proposals that this year will start from Zaragoza.
The wine bus
One of the most consolidated products of the Somontano Wine Route continues its growth year after year. Followers are joining this innovative initiative, already consolidated, which allows us to get to know the territory in a different way. Last year, 367 more travelers got on the Wine bus, allowing the annual average to go from 37 to 40,8 passengers per bus.
In addition, in 2017 visits to wineries and agri-food companies increased by almost 10% compared to 2016. 77.541 visitors were reached. Antonio Cosculluela has highlighted “the effort of the wineries that have presented interesting wine tourism projects. This has undoubtedly increased in a very positive way the number of visits to our territory ”.
New unique and experiential itineraries
Ten unique and experiential itineraries with departures from Zaragoza and Huesca. That is the novelty, maintaining the commitment to link them to events in the territory and tourist products. A new image brochure of the Wine bus collects these ten proposals for the coming months. It is detailed in each of them and provides all the information of interest.
La President of the Denomination of Origin Somontano highlighted that these itineraries have been created taking into account the ratings and comments from travelers. Some of them, "star" programs of the last edition and other new itineraries planned to enjoy the Wine tourism in Somontano.
All this in a unique and quality way. It is increased by one more itinerary compared to last year's offer to include a last bus departure at the end of November.
New starting point and a common theme
With the idea of continuing to grow, this year the Wine bus look at the neighboring province of Lleida. Everything to launch four itineraries under a common theme: gastronomy, with stops in Binéfar, Monzón and Barbastro.
