After more than three years of the certification process Leda Winery launches its first wines with organic certification. The process began with the certificate for the production and elaboration of organic wines that it obtained in 2019 and now it is coming out with its first organic wines.
In this way, it has already gone on the market with two certified wines such as the Más de Leda 2019 Ecológico and Leda Viñas Viejas 2019 Ecológico. The next year 2023 will also arrive with a third wine, Guarda de Leda with the same seal of organic production. In other words, from the 2019 vintage all the wines from Bodega Leda will have the seal ecological. These wines come from vineyards that have been certified organic since 2010.
According to its General Director José Masaveu of the Masaveu Bodegas wine group, he explains: “At Leda we have always opted for sustainability. We are especially satisfied and proud to have already launched our wines with the organic seal, which certifies the environmental commitment that we have at Masaveu Bodegas”.
Two great organic wines from Bodega Leda
Bodegas Leda works 100% with the Tempranillo variety and does so in the Denominations of Origin of Ribera del Duero, Toro and Cigales.
