The population of Santa Coloma de Farners dedicates an entire day to one of the most typical delicacies of Catalonia: bread with tomato. Considered one of the most distinctive characteristics of Catalan cuisine, this fair is organized to invigorate this dish and make the most of its possibilities.
Throughout the day long tables and numerous stalls are set up in the park of Sant Salvador, where you can find all the necessary ingredients to enjoy a good portion: from the best bread from the town's bakers to oils and tomatoes, but also sausages artisans and grilled meat, as well as other food products that combine with this accompaniment.
In addition, talks, concerts and a mountain race are organized. Special activities such as pony rides and children's shows are prepared for the little ones, and inflatable attractions are also installed. The day ends with a cantada de habaneras.
