The most digestible milk is already on the Spanish market. Galician farmers who have isolated cows with genotype A2 have made it a reality. The genotype called A2 is the one that identifies cows that only produce betacasein A2 protein and that makes this milk more digestible. This milk with betacasein A2 is associated with some health benefits compared to the conventional one with betacasein A1.
