The winner's main and tough rival was a great Gongonzola cheese, specifically Gongonzola Dolce DOP from De'Magi Formaggi.

The contest that lasted three days, 4434 references from 42 countries have been tasted for this they have had the participation of 250 international judges. The great participation of countries such as the United States and Japan, in addition to all European countries, stands out. It is also worth noting the participation of cheeses from Ukraine, the country that was to be the host this year.
