    The place for lovers of Red tuna is in Barcelona and is the Tunateca Balfego. The restaurant started its journey in April 2017 and can boast of being the only restaurant dedicated to bluefin tuna all over the world. It is the emblem of the company Balfego, dedicated to the fishing of this fish in the Ebro delta for five generations.

    In a spacious space located in the center of the diagonal of Barcelona, ​​where the Tunateca Balfego manages to combine in an exclusive space, well located and connected, an original cuisine around bluefin tuna. Advised by the restaurant's chefs Koy Shunka Hideki Matsuhisa, which provides knowledge of the use of this product in Japanese cuisine, and by Marc Miró, chef at La Llotja de l´Ametlla de Mar who contributes to the culinary culture of tuna in the Mediterranean.

    With all these wickers, a modern kitchen is achieved with very different dishes that never cease to surprise the diner. The dishes that are currently the most successful is the trilogy of sashimi made with three very different parts of tuna.
