This restaurant is the primer Sake bar from Spain and in it you can get to know in depth the world of the drink that best combines with the Japanese food. Everything about its pairing, its different types and also surprise you with the cocktails. Belonging to Tokyo ya (importer and distributor of Japanese products) the Shuwa Shuwa restaurant has 60 types of Sake. They are from the most prestigious wineries in Japan, such as Kubota, Yaegaki, Ozeki or Nanbubijin.
There are very fruity and aromatic ones, like white wine; intense and dry, and koshu, a sake aged for more than three years very similar to Jerez wine. In cocktails, you can discover mojito sake and gin and tonic sake, combinations of sake with yuzu, matcha liqueur, ginger, sakura (cherry blossom) or sake punch.
Besides eating sushi, sashimi and other Japanese creations with Sake -drink that, as if it were wine, is taken during the dishes and not at the end of the meals-, this Shuwa Shuwa restaurant It also offers tasting menus with Spanish food such as Iberian ham, cheeses and nuts.
