It has been more than fourteen years since Fitoplancton Marino, SL started with the cultivation of micro-seaweed or phytoplankton. It was for various sectors such as dermocosmetics or aquariums. But for 8 years Marine Phytoplankton he began to work in order to achieve a goal.

It was the authorization of a lyophilized micro-algae product for gastronomy. A challenge that arose thanks to the alliance of Marine Phytoplankton and the Chef of the Sea.

This was the origin of a joint work to develop a new food that would serve as sea ​​flavor enhancer. A challenge that was achieved in March 2014, with the obtaining of a "Novel Food" in Europe. This authorizes exclusively to Marine Phytoplankton for its cultivation and commercialization.
