Come back (MMACE), the Championship for the Best Chocolatier Master Craftsman in Spain, after several years without celebrating, thanks to the joint work of CEEAP (Spanish Confederation of Artisan Pastry Entrepreneurs), the Guild of Confectioners and Pastry Chef and Gourmet. The contest returns in order to promote the knowledge and skills of pastry chefs artisans in terms of sweets and chocolates.
When and how will the contest for the best artisan chocolatier be?
The Championship for the Best Chocolatier Master Craftsman in Spain will be held on next november en Valencia Fair, within Gastrónoma. It will take place from November 12 to 14, 2023 and the call will be open until next June 30.
The essential requirements to be able to attend this championship are: to be pastry chef and chocolatier of legal age, reside permanently in Spain and have accredited professional experience minimum of four years. In addition, the candidates will appear in the contest in their personal capacity, not on behalf of a pastry shop, bakery, school, etc.
The theme of the competition will be free
The MMACE will allow contestants express, with their skills and knowledge, their maximum creativity, that is why he competition theme will be free. Applicants must do their job individually, however, due to the 13 long hours of competition, the organization will put at the service of the participants a helper. In this period of time, the contestants must execute the following nine tests:
