Lebrel Reserve 2015 strain: A red wine from the DOCa Rioja. Made with Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha varieties, it has 20 months in the barrel and 16 in the bottle. A classic Rioja wine that will not disappoint. We would highlight the good balance in acidity, very round in the mouth, perfect for pairing meat, game and full-bodied dishes. We shouldn't serve it above 17º, especially in summer. Its price is 3,8€, a great bargain for a magnificent wine.
Hachón Reserve 2015: It is fair to recommend this wine from Ribera del Duero. In the first place because its designation of origin is a guarantee but it is also that Hachón 2015 does not disappoint, it is a more than correct wine. If you want a quality wine for day to day at an exceptional price and for only 5€ this is Hachón Reserva 2015. A fruity wine with toasted notes that could have evolved a bit more but you are going to love it. A well-made monovarietal wine of the Tempranillo variety.
Cosmological biodynamic wine: We want to highlight within the Lidl winery the great commitment to biodynamic wine. Cosmológico is a wine from Tierra de Castilla. A young and very balanced red wine from the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. A very well made wine with aromas of pepper and spices. On the palate it is permanent and fulfills what we can ask of a young red wine of this variety. A good chance ,for a price less than € 4, to enter the world of biodynamic wines.
Elección Rosado, the best Lidl wines
Mezquiriz 2019 It is a rosé wine from the D.O Navarre and of the Garnacha variety. A fresh, smooth and fruity wine of a beautiful color to accompany a wide variety of dishes such as pasta, salads, rice and meat. The serving temperature is 10º and its alcoholic graduation is 11º. Its price is 1,75€.
Choice White
Circo Vega Length 2019: This white wine is a mono varietal of the Spanish Verdejo variety. Its DO is Land of Castile. A fruity wine somewhat citric, smooth, tasty but light and elegant. Its color is straw and its alcohol content is 11,5 º. A perfect bottle for fish, salads and rice dishes. Its price is specifically set at € 1,85.
Cavas
Cava Amorany Gran Cuveé Brut: Regarding cavas, we want to highlight Amorany Gran Cuvee Brut for getting a cava at a price of € 5 and of a really good quality. Made with the three classic varieties of cava grapes: Macabeu, Xarel-lo and Parellada, it has a medium-sized bubble and balanced acidity. A refreshing cava that pairs with a multitude of starters and meals. Add that its aesthetics is very successful and elegant.
Cava Brut Reserva Sumarroca 2017: An elegant cava made with the varieties of Macabeu, Xarel-lo, Parellada and 7% Chardonnay. They are aged for two years and they have achieved a creamy, balanced and fruity cava perfect to pair with fish and rice. A very good option to buy a very good cava for only € 8,5.
