When it seemed that we had already seen everything in relation to the torrijas, the company from Visueña goes and presents its particular tribute to this dessert so typical of Easter. The 70 centiliter bottle is priced at 12 euros and was released on Good Friday. Only during the first 24 hours did they receive a total of 1000 orders of this product that has caused so much curiosity. In the end, where has a French toast cream?

With that intention of providing a flavor as popular as that of this sweet, which since Andalusian Beverages they seek is to transport the client “to those longed-for family reunions, making these memories and traditions continue to be part of our essence ”, as the company admits. To achieve this, the French toast cream has that characteristic aroma with notes of lemon, cinnamon and orange blossom; and that unmistakable taste of honey and cinnamon too. In terms of appearance, it is a creamy white vanilla drink.

The truth is that this release has special meaning given the times. With the pandemic situation that is being experienced around the globe, restrictions prevent the celebration of festivities as popular as the eastern, a whole party and part of the Spanish and, above all, Andalusian culture. That is why Basilio Rodriguez, Marketing Director of the Sevillian company, explained to Diario de Sevilla how the idea came about:

"In a year as complicated as this, we wanted to do our bit to ensure that, despite the circumstances, anyone this spring can enjoy a tradition so deeply rooted in our land as torrija". And what better way to do it than “in one different and innovative way, which is what characterizes us", recognize.
