What is the Agrarian Chamber?
What is the Camera Agrarian? ¿Why is it so important? The Agrarian Chamber of the Community of Madrid is a Corporation de Right Public regulated by law. Its mission is to ensure the interests of the agricultural sector of the community before the Attorney Public. It also has public functions, generally of the administrative type. Membership of this group is mandatory to be able to enjoy certain rights. Thus, the agrarian chamber plays advisory functions acting as a consultation body.

In turn, it plays representative functions, since its members are representatives of the most important professional agricultural organizations in the Community of Madrid. Agricultural producers come to show their products to the public and it involves a direct conversation between producer and customer.
Since 10 years the first Saturday of each month the Agrarian Chamber holds this event. The best: the entrance is free. And, even better: they will give you a tasting bag. The main objective of the fair is that agricultural professionals expose their different products depending on the season in which we are. Reciprocally, they will obtain their opinions, ratings, comments, etc. from consumers. Visitors can even make orders for those products that interest them.
This time we are in mid-autumn and, therefore, we can enjoy a wide range of products thanks to the seasonality. We gather in space and time crops of the summer season and, some more winter. This Saturday we can see tomatoes, cucumbers or peppers as well as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, red cabbage, etc. The event also has the purpose of making visible the Madrid field. Their slogan emphasizes this idea: "Madrid, cultivate and produce for you."

A fair of great products
And it is that the products of this fair are not for less, but some of them have won very successful awards. For example, him sheep cheese Marquis of Mendiola (ciempozuelos) is best of Spain.
