What is an oil of vegetable origin?

Flaxseed oil is extracted from the Linum plant very common (flax), common in our country and striking for its precious blue flowers. We are facing a superfood rich in fatty acids which are part of the Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9. Thus, it has a remarkable amount, between a 53 and 57% alpha-linolenic acid. Its polyunsaturated fatty acids provide us with phytochemicals as lignans, which provide our body with great antioxidant functions against free radicals.

Therefore, flaxseed oil helps us prevent cardiovascular diseases, atherosclerosis, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, osteoporosis, immunity and neurological disorders. Flax oil also contributes to the weightloss, to improve the health of our skin and hair, is ideal for athletes (reduces recovery times, increases calcium absorption), etc. I don't know about you, but we are looking forward to incorporating it into our diet. Like any oil, we can consume it in liquid format or in capsules or pearls. Without a doubt, we choose The first option.

First of all, we must consume flax oil as is, that is, in raw. The main reason is that it is not an oil with a high flash point and therefore, would rust going stale. We can use it as a base to dress our salads, in rice or pasta recipes and even to make smoothies. Peanut oil

Have you ever heard of peanut oil? No right? Don't worry, the truth is that it is not very common in our country. And, in addition, it usually has a neutral or very subtle flavor, which makes it a very versatile ingredient. Although it depends on the production process, it can have a more or less marked taste of peanut.

In addition to using it for frying, it is very common for the preparation of sauces or mayonnaise. Regarding its nutritional properties, it stands out for its high energy value.
